So sorry. I just found out about the loss of my childhood friend, Alice. My deepest condolences to The Stephens family. When we were growing up I lived across the street from Alice. Although I had not seen her in years I've never forgotten her, and never will. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss, sickness and death is an enemy of God, he promises to do away with sickness and death one day soon. Revelation 21: 3,4. The God of the Bible is a loving God who can provide comfort to the mourning ones, those lowly in heart and provide encouragement and strength. 2 Corinthians. 1: 3,4.
May comfort and peace be with your family and friends.

My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry that you are going through this difficult time. Psalms 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress. And remember that God hates it when one of His children dies (Matthew 18:14, 1 Corinthians 15:26). So He makes Himself available in order to comfort us. In fact, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 refers to Him as the "God of all comfort". Pray to Him for strength to get through this most difficult time. Weep to Him when the words just won't come out. He will really help you (Isaiah 41:10) because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And please, call upon His name found at Psalm 83:18. www.JW.org
