Allan Ricketts, Sr., 77, passed away after a valiant fight with Alzheimer's, his family was at his side.

Allan was born September 5, 1939 in St. Petersburg, FL. He graduated from Plant High School and Florida Jr. College, and was a member of Toast Masters and Kiwanis. Allan was an Air Force Veteran, President of Title and Trust of Florida and a General Contractor for 43 years, building many homes and commercial properties all over Orange Park, Jacksonville and the state.

Allan enjoyed fishing, camping, sailing, yachting and hiking, and was a Triathaloner. Anything outdoors was his joy and he always turned something into an wild and crazy adventure.

Allan loved the Lord and most recently attended Hibernia Baptist Church and Pinewood Presbyterian. He was also a Currisllo alumni.

Allan is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cooper; ex-wife and friend, Karen Swinson; and son, Allan “AJ”, his wife Roxane and daughter Ashley Ricketts. Allan also leaves brothers, Norman, Charlie and Gary, and sister, Karen.

The family will have an Amicalola Falls Mountain top going away for Allan in the Spring.
