Brian M. Dickmann

Brian M. Dickmann passed away on April 14, 2018. He was born on September 18, 1957 in New Orleans, LA, to John P. and Carol B. Dickmann.

Brian graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management, and earned an MBA from Ashridge Business School in Ashridge, UK. His work history includes Latex Gulf Valve, Champion Equipment, ANC, Rexam Manufacturing Company, Impress, Ardagh, and Anheuser Busch Metal Container Corporation. Brian was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council, 9499. He cherished family time, especially being with his grandchildren, and he enjoyed boating and being on the water.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John L. and Edna Dickmann, Sr., and Walter and Elise Borne.

Brian is survived by his daughters, Elise D. Fenstermaker and Marcie D. Bartel; grandchildren, Mason Michael Fenstermaker, Carter Brian Bartel, Brooks Paul Fenstermaker and Charlotte Rose Bartel; brothers, Kevin and Travis Dickmann; sister, Wendy Brunet; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Ashley Brunet, Taylor, Parker and Cortney Dickmann, Crystal and Aurora Heineman and Dori Edwards; in-laws, Brenda Dickmann, Ferrell Brunet and Christina Dickmann; special friends, Darrell and Carol LeSage, Nick and Kim Casciato and Roy and Donna Block.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and volunteers at Mayo “The Ritz” Clinic, 8th floor Oncology, for the exceptional care given to Brian.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 19, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 U.S. Hwy 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003 and a visitation on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
