Denise R. McEachern passed away on September 21, 2017 in Green Cove Springs, FL. She was born on February 21, 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK to Linda L Horowitz and the late Chris J. Blackwell.

Denise was a high school graduate and worked at Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart DC 6099 in Jacksonville, FL. She liked reading, crosswords, family time and her beloved puppy, Sprokit.

Preceding Denise in death are her father; grandmother, Daisy Strain and grandfather, Raymond Bussell.

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Lamarr “Mardy” E. McEachern, children, Brittni (Jerry) Mullis, Scott C. Smith, Alex C. Smith and Cassandra L. Smith; mother, Linda Horowitz; step children, Tyler, Meghan, Jesse, Breanna McEachern; brother, David J. Blackwell; sister, Marilyn M. Brittan; nephews, Tyler A., Brittan, Zachary and Austin Blackwell; friend, Kristi Brock and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 with visitation at 10:30 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
