Reuben Pratt passed away on September 6, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. he was born on September 10, 1939 in Miami, FL. to the late David E. and Velva Pratt.

Reuben graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and had worked for Champion Spark Plug (Toledo). He enjoyed dogs, horses and shooting.

Preceding Reuben in death are his parents; brother, Gene Kelly; sisters, Barbara Clark and Enid Sweeting and grandparents, David and Ellen Pratt.

He is survived by his wife, Julia A. Pratt; sons, Kelvin, Reuben C. and Dr. Christopher C. Pratt; grandchildren, Cyrena, Teanna, Dominique, Sydney, Preston, Christopher A., and Colin A.; greatgrandchild Nadia; brothers, David and Benjamin Pratt and Ronald Nealy; sisters, Denise, Rita Mills and Casandra Beneby and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Orange Park Christian Center, 530 Madeira Drive, Orange Park, FL 32073.
