Wanda Rydel

Wanda Rydel passed away on March 8, 2018 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on May 4, 1933 in La Cygne, KS to the late Floyd Sedgwick and Merle White Sedgwick.

Wanda graduated from high school. She was a member of First Assembly of Fleming Island, the Lions Club and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Rydel; son, Donald Simms, son-in-law, Larry Keller; granddaughter, Victoria Danica; four sisters and one brother.

Wanda is survived by her children, Rayetta Keller, Tom (Wendy) Simms and Jeff (Kim) Rydel; grandchildren, Hollie Osborne, Candace Lake (Dion),  Leah Dilts (Chris), Ericka Dudek (David), Megan Simms (Jon), Evan Simms, Belinda Vatany, Rebecca Scarlotta, and Danny Simms; great-grandchildren, Piper Kalin, Michael, Mekhi and Makaleb Hooks, Gage and Emma Dilts, Isabella Vento, Zoe Amick; great-great-granddaughter Aevah Zapp; brother, Jarvis Sedgwick; sisters, Mary Ellen Jeneski, Betty Elliotte, Patty Sue Mann, and a host of friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at First Assembly of Fleming Island, 6865 Pine Avenue, Fleming Island, FL 32003 with visitation at 12:00 Noon and service starting at 1:00 p.m.

A reception following the service will take place in the  church hall.
