Thomas Wayne Reedy

Thomas Wayne Reedy passed away on February 26, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on February 21, 1966 in Rockford, IL to the late Albert Lynn Reedy and Doris Mae Reedy.

Tommy’s work history included Willies Auto Body, KC Auto Body and Superior Enterprise Towing of Jacksonville. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, watching NASCAR races and doing body work for many people to help them with a lower rate.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Lynn Reedy; granddaughter, Kathleen Marie Reedy; and grandparents Schuyler Colfax Holt and Mary Rosanne Browning-Holt.

Family members surviving Tommy are his children, Rachel Lauren (Reedy) Camp and Thomas Albert Reedy; grandchild, Connor Kayne Zimmer; sisters, Sheryl Lynn Clifford, Vicki Mae Cervantes, Darla Joy McCormack and Brenda Kay Carlson; nephews, Kevin Lee Peek, “Chucky” Christopher Charles Newnham, Robby Wayne Peppers, Gerald Albert Reedy and John Curtis Johnson; nieces, Dawn Renae Anderson, Nikki Lyn Fenwick, Rose Marie Reedy, Elizabeth Victoria Figuero and James Lewis McNaughton; cousins, Keith Harper, Marlene Hillison, Donna Dykes, Judy Jones, Loyd Allen Holt, Kenneth Holt, Shirley Gibson, Steven Holt, Sandra, David Holt, Diane, Debbie and Danny, Coetta Whiteley, Robert Cowden, Darrel Cowden, Anita Robinson and Richard Salyer; great nieces and nephews, Ashley, Kristen, Kenlee, Katy, Sierra, Lil Robby, Joey, Gabrial, Bryan, Jeremy, Taryn, Jarrett, Corrina, Dominic, Naveah, Hayden, Kahlia and baby Gabriel and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank his boss, Joe, from Superior Enterprise Towing of Jacksonville, for employing and helping Tommy along the way. Also, a thank you to Baptist Medical Center for caring for Tommy in his final days.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Peoria Cemetery, 142 Jefferson Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32065.
