Cobby Brown, Jr.

Cobby Brown, Jr. passed away on March 29, 2018 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on February 2, 1950 in Monticello, FL to the late Cobby Brown, Sr. and Carrie M. Smith Brown.

Cobby worked for the Town of Orange Park Public Works for 30 years and enjoyed watching tv is his spare time.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, son, Cobby Brown, III, and grandparents, Peter and Mae Ida Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Brown; children, Terry M., Bruce L., Shuriel L., Chris D. and Shawn Brown, and Rashun F. Tashikea; step sons, Katony A. and Terrance L. Thomas; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Minister Bobby (Denise) Brown, Alvin (Wanda) Brown, Deacon Gregory (Rev. Terry) Brown, Alan (Tara) Brown, Anthony (Jackie) Brown, Willie Brown, Rose Brown, and Bertha Brown-Williams; and a host of friends.

The family would like to thank Haven Hospice of Orange Park for the exceptional care given to their loved one, Cobby Brown, Jr.

Services will be held on April 7, 2018 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and the service starting at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
