Craig Edward Stover passed away on July 7, 2019 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on June 19, 1953 in San Diego, CA to the late Fred Edward Stover and Elizabeth Ann Smith.
Craig retired from the United States Navy after a long naval career. He held a Masters’ Degree in Forensic Science and worked many years for San Diego County Probation Department.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Fred Michael Stover.
Craig is survived by his children, Christopher E. Stover (Jacqueline Ann) and Elizabeth Ann Decker (James); grandchildren, Kailee Alena, Braeden Edward, Devin Robert Stover; brothers, Fred Michael Stover (Irene) and Phillip Stover; nephew, Michael Stover (Yvonne) and niece, Jennifer Treguboff (Bryan).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., and visitation at 10:00 at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233. Interment will follow the service at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, FL 32218.
