Dementre “Dee” Robinson, Jr., was born on October 25, 1955 in Jacksonville,
Florida, and departed this earthly life on Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was the
loving husband of Laurie Robinson, the devoted son of Dementre Robinson, Sr.
(deceased) and Dr. Clara Walker, and the adorable and caring father of Amber
Robinson.
Dementre attended Duval Public Schools and was a graduate of Paxon Senior
High in 1973. Afterwards, he received his Bachelor of Science from Florida
Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in 1977, where he became a
member of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. He retired after 31 years of service
from the State of Florida Department of Corrections as an Assistant Warden.
Elder Dementre Robinson, Jr. was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and
received the precious gift of the holy ghost at an early age. He was called into
the ministry and went on to become a passionate youth leader. He was
faithful member of Glorious Bethlehem Temple and later Emmanuel Temple,
both in Jacksonville, Florida.

Walker, Jr. (Yolanda) and Duane Walker, Sr.; Aunts: Beatrice Baker, Rosa Flucas,
Queen Elizabeth Richardson (District Elder James Richardson), and Minnie
Phillips; Uncles: Jesse Moore, Jr. (Dorothy), Jimmy Moore (Lola), Robert Moore
(Pat), the late Leroy Moore (Willie Mae), Willie Moore (Gail); and host of nieces
and nephews.
