Master Sergeant Derryl G. Andrews, USMC Retired, age 70, went to be with our Lord on October 20, 2017. Derryl proudly served his country for 22 years. He was a Vietnam veteran, educator and dedicated family man.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Lillie Anne Andrews; an adoring daughter, Heather Graves, and her husband, Tom; granddaughter, Chloe Graves (a.k.a. little buddy); and mother-in-love, Violet Hacker.

Whether in an orphanage while on deployment or in the infant room on Sunday morning, Derryl’s ministry had always been loving children, most recently at Shiloh Church Orange Park (previously Ridgewood).

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Shiloh Orange Park, 939 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL, following a visitation at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate a toy to Toys for Tots at Christmas.
