Doirieanna M. Harris-Cronin was a remarkable woman who lived a unique and extraordinary life. She was born on July 24, 1934 in Peabody, Massachusetts to William Harris and Dorothy McDermott and died on September 3, 2019 surrounded by family and engulfed in love. She is survived by three children, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three siblings, a niece, a nephew, and her sweet dog, Liam.
Doirie, affectionately called ‘Marmalady’ by her grandchildren, found great joy in knitting, painting, carving wood, and sharing the things she made with those she loved. Her creative mind was exceptional, and she had an inquisitive wonder for life. She was an adventurer who loved to travel, cook, and use her wicked sense of humor to make friends wherever she went. She was always on the hunt for “different,” neat experiences and a good glass of wine.
Doirieanna was loved by extended family and everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.
From all of your family: A gra, Marmalady.
