Frances Giordano, 84, passed away peacefully at home July 9, 2017 in Orange Park, Florida. Fran was born Frances DiCrescio on January 30, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. She married the love of her life, Jerry Giordano, on January 26, 1951, recently celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary. Fran and Jerry moved to Vero Beach in 1955 making it their home until 2007 before moving to Orange Park to be closer to family. Fran was a multi-talented woman, from being one of the first court stenographers in New York to owning several successful Vero Beach businesses with husband Jerry throughout their 52 years living in Vero Beach, their most famous being Giordano’s Italian Deli. Fran was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her kind, caring and compassionate nature radiated in all the lives she touched and her loving, sunny disposition will be forever missed.  Fran spread her wings and flew to God in heaven who is now embracing her in his eternal love saying, “Hallelujah! You are home.” Fran is survived by her husband, Jerry; three daughters, Vickie Layton, Jacque Rectenwald, Gerri Hubbard; their husbands John Layton and Tracy Rectenwald; and 10 grandchildren, Gerard and Alyson Lozano, Christopher Walker, Melissa, Stephanie and Tracy Rectenwald, Angela, Michael, Mark and Francesca Hubbard. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
