Fred Gottshalk

Fred Sylvester Gottshalk , 76, passed away on August 12, 2018 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on December 1, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Walt and Clara Magel Gottshalk.

Fred was a member of the United States Navy and Air Force. He also worked for General Electric as well as in Civil Service.  Fred belonged to MorningStar Family Church. He enjoyed political events, church activities, hunting, Border Patrol, and spending time with his family.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Claire Cochran. 

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Gottshalk; children, JoAnne, Cavell, Mike, Peter Thomas, Bart, Angela, Joshua, Linda, Mary and Jacob; step-children; Helen, Rebecca, and Deborah; brothers, Walt and Paul Gottshalk; sisters, Alice Whitecraft and Katie McDaniel; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to eh USO and Wounded Warrior project.
