Henley Rudy Roberts

Henley Rudy Roberts went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2019. He was born in Athens, GA on September 23, 1940 to Clyde and Willie Roberts.

Rudy was a retired disabled military veteran and a man who loved his family and country.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheryl “Karen” Lancey; brothers, Clarence and Charles Roberts and sisters, Doris, Faye, Tommy Sue and Jean.

Rudy is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Sonia; daughter, Kelly Andrews (John) and son, Duane Roberts (Sandy); grandchildren, Jacklyn Edwards (Aaron) and Joshua Roberts (Marie) Justine Kugel (Tim), and Kacy Caldwell (Michael); great-grandchildren, Blake and Payton Roberts, Eliana and LaRue Kugel and Isaac Caldwell; sister, Connie Roberts and son-in-law, Jon Lancey.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 12:00 noon, at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233. Immediately following the service, burial will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
