Julian Menchavez Obligado

Julian Obligado passed away on April 27, 2019 in Fort Worth, TX. He was born on August 7, 1997 in San Francisco, CA to Emma Obligado and the late Leonardo Obligado.

Julian earned an Associate of Arts Degree and had worked as a cook at Bentos Restaurant and Panda Express. He loved cooking and video games.

Julian is survived by his mother, Emma Obligado; his brother, Leoni Obligado; grandparents, Eduardo and Azucena Menchavez; cousins, Justin, Jhunalyn and Joven Viray, Ally,  Aimee and Andrew Watkins; girlfriend, Alex Huynh; special friends, Jalyn Carter, Mark Pangalinan, Rorit Dastidar and Kyle Bernabe.

The family extends special thanks to family and friends and to the Filipino Association in Gainesville at the University of Florida for their outpouring of emotional support and tremendous financial support through Gofundme. Also, to SFC and SICU peeps family for their support and prayers.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsey Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
