Linda D Crooks

Linda D. Crooks, 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Crooks; daughter, LeAnn Lynelle Crooks; mother, Ruth Thomas; father, Chester Cason and step-father, Ivan Thomas.

She is survived by her son, Jason Crooks; daughter, LeAnn Young (Brian); grandchildren; Christina, Amanda, Amber, Taylor, Skylar, Cheyenne, Peyton, Ruth, Aiden, Zoey, Jason, Emily and Emory; great-grandchildren; Alexis, Bentley and Morgan; sisters, Patti Eichman (Bruce) and Jane Farabaugh (Dan) and grandkitty, Thai, who she adored and lovingly called "Thai Ball" as well as many other family members that she loved dearly.

To know Linda was to love her, she never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. She was a devoted, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a grandma (Maw Maw) like no other. She loved her family with all of her heart. She was a caretaker by nature as well as by profession. She loved working with the elderly in various roles as a sitter, CNA, LPN. After being injured on the job, she remained as a Unit Secretary/Ward Clerk. She was filled with so much compassion, kindness, loyalty, integrity, and love. She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her. We are fortunate to have had her on this earth for 72 years and to have so many great memories of her. Our hearts will forever be broken because of our physical loss, but Linda lives in the hearts of each and every one of us and will forever be remembered as the greatest woman we ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Please join the family in honoring Linda and celebrating her life on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 6824 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, FL 32526.
