Linda King, 73, died August 6, 2017, in Orange Park, FL, after a short illness.  Mrs. King was born on October 23, 1943, in Fort McPherson, GA, to the late Margaret and William Samuel Jackson.  She earned a degree in clinical nursing and had a successful career both as a practicing nurse and a nursing administrator.

Linda is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as by her brother and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held today, August 8, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233, and she will be interred at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Lawton, OK, with her late husband, Ted King.

Linda was a kind and loving mother and grandmother who contributed throughout her life to the happiness and well-being of everyone around her, and she will be terribly missed.
