Luis Rubia Obituary
Luis O. Rubia, 74, passed away on October 23, 2019 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on August 25, 1945 in Nueva Ecija, Philippines to the late Andres Rubia and Amanda Ortega Rubia.
He is preceded in death by his youngest son, Brian Rubia.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Maria Dolores C. Rubia; children, Lalaine Pineda (Michael), Darlene Medrano (Sef, Jr.), Donnabelle Heath (Brian), and Luis Rubia, Jr. (Roxanne); grandchildren, Ricci Anne Louise Rubia, Angela Pineda, Lorrainne Jae Rubia, Angeli Pineda, Danzel Rubia, Nathan Medrano, Angelu Pineda and Storm Rubia; and many other family members and friends.
Luis has departed life as we know it. He will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, FL 32068. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
