Lydia Mendoza Arbizo Bouscher, 81, passed away on October 20, 2018 at St Vincent Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on August 3, 1937 in Iba, Zambales Philippines to the late Atty. Juan Arbizo and Alberta Mendoza.
Lydia received her bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines and held her real estate license. She worked as a real estate broker and a shipping manager with K- Mart Far East LTD Philippines. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville.
Lydia was a member of the Bayanihan Club of Jacksonville where she held the Secretary position. Her hobbies included making rosaries, sewing and bowling. Lydia is preceded in death by her brother Arturo Arbizo (Justita Elayda+).
Lydia is survived by her loving husband, Byron Walter Bouscher; brothers Atty Benedicto Arbizo (Violeta), August Arbizo Gloria); sister, Sofia Ela( Dr. Januario+); nieces Marivi, Fegeline+, Joji, Grace,Mary Rose, Marily, Marife and Maita; nephews, Joey, Gerry, John+, Jojo, Abet, Gerald and James; stepchildren, Steven Bouscher (Jelita), Kelly Bouscher (Kimberly) and Sheila Valloney (Robert) as well as many other members and friends.
As Lydia’s wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to Bayanihan Club of Jacksonville to benefit and support Little Angels Orphanage (Philippines) is suggested.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park, FL 32073. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5752 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32244.
