Margaret “Ellen” Wilson passed away on December 5, 2017. She was born on June 24, 1947 in Walterboro, SC to Jasper C. Herndon and the late Edna E. Herndon.

Ellen was an incredible nurse, earning her LPN license at St. Augustine Technical Center, for 30 years. She loved helping people and was a Navy wife, married to Willie Wilson for 28 years. Her three grandchildren were the joy of her life. She loved the beach, traveling, reading and playing the piano. Everyone that knew her loved her. She loved to sew and making special things for everyone. Ellen loved everyone. Her friends were friends for life. Ellen loved the Lord and was a member of High Point Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gathering for family dinners.

Preceding Ellen in death was her mother, Edna E. Herndon.

Ellen is survived by her husband, William Wilson; children, Dale (Maria Elena) Seibert and Denese (Kurt) Anderson; grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Gourley, Michael and Santiago Seibert; father, Jasper C. Herndon; brother, Don (Julie) Herndon; sister, Cathy (Seth) Holman; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation at 10:00 a.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
