Mary Jane Rogers

Mary Jane Tiner Rogers passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Orange Park, Florida after a long illness surrounded by family.  She was born February 15, 1949 in Fernandina Beach, Florida.  She is the daughter of James W. and Rachel O. Tiner.

Mary lived in the North Florida area for most of her life including growing up in Fernandina, and living in Jacksonville and Middleburg, Florida.  She enjoyed bowling, tennis, golf, fishing, sewing and gardening.  She adored animals and was the caretaker for many pets.  Mary enjoyed a good sense of humor and was loved and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Charlie Rogers Sr.; daughter, Rachel Rogers, Karen Wallace (daughter-in-law); son, Charlie Rogers Jr and Benjamin Jones (son-in-law);  grandchildren, Jesse Rogers, Rebecca Gangemi and Michael Ganjemi;  brothers, Wayne, Jesse James, Joseph and Johnny Tiner.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.  A reception following service will be at Grace Episcopal Church.
