Nolda Gonsalves passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born on July 28, 1953 in Paranam Suriname, South America, to the late Leonie Aleyne and Wilfred Aleyne.

Nolda finished high school and held licenses in phlebotomy and medical science. She was employed by LabCorp and Marriott Hotel. Nolda was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Regular Pioneer and enjoyed field service with her organization and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Aida Aleyne, and Leon and Leroy Gonsalves; grandchildren Enoch and Essence Small, Joshua and Josiah Gonsalves; brothers, Jurgen and Ernie Read and Regilio Aleyne; nieces and nephews, Ivana Lechton, Moritcha, Jurgen, and Kenicio Pinas, Denzel, Servan and Joshua Read.

The family extends a special thank you, to the folks at San Jose Rehabilitation, for the care administered to our mom.
