Richard Zarn passed away on September 25, 2018 in Orange Park, FL He was born on August 1, 1935 in Braynard, MN to the late Robert William Zarn and Lois Adams.
Richard served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1969. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL and the VFW. He enjoyed traveling to Colorado and loved Colorado Sports teams. Richard especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard was proceeded in death by his parents; daughter, Lynn Allen; brothers, Leeland Russell Zarn, Bill Zarn and Robert Zarn; sisters, Elnore Steele and Delores Evangelisti and grandparents, Henery Zarn and Sophie Newly.
Richard is survived by his children, Kyle Zarn and Brian Zarn; grandchildren, Sarah Zarn, Steve Zarn, Danielle Young, Louie Perkins, Megan Turner, Robin Madera, Katrina Acker, Marcy Child and Mathew Allen; great grandchildren, Ella Child, Evan Child, Tasla Tucker, Andres Madera, Anthony Madera, Martin Madera, Arriana Madera, Angelo Madera, Armando Madera, Xavier Turner, Ryann Turner, Shelby Acker, Aubrey Acker, Ford Acher, Jacob Acker, Mathew Allen Jr., Emery Allen, Dax Perkins, Johnathan Perkins, Kale Perkins and Conner Jones; brother, Jim Zarn; nephews, Dan Zarn, Paul Zarn, John Zarn, and David Zarn; nieces, Karen Gravelle , Kim, Denise Zarn and Allice Danielson; cousin, Daryl Danielson and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 7268 Exline Road, Jacksonville, FL 32222.
