Ronald Poole was born April 28, 1952 to the Union of Oliver and Evelyn Poole, Birmingham, AL. He accepted the Lord at an early age and was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie B. Henley, Sr.
Ronald attended Brunetta C. Hill Elementary School and graduated from A.H. Parker High School. He continued his education and received his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at Florida Technical College
Ronald met and married Evelyn Poole on February 14, 1981. They raised two children LaSonya May who preceded him in death and Ronald Christopher Poole.
Ronald served his country in the United States Navy and retired in 27
years. He was employed by the Federal Government and worked until his second retirement in November 2017.
Ronald had a deep abiding love for working for his Lord. He served as a Deacon at his church and was instrumental in loving people.
Ronald loved his wife, children, siblings and other family members. He was always there for them to help in any way he could. He also loved people and if necessary, he would give them the shirt off his back.
Ronald departed this life at 6:15 a.m. Saturday morning February 24, 2018.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Evelyn Poole; son, Ronald Christopher Poole; mother-in-law, Franciner Wiggins of Barnwell, SC; brothers, Oliver (Jackie) of Cleveland, OH; Alfonza and Forest of Birmingham, AL; and sister, Patsy Maxey of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-laws, Gwendolyn Poole and Virginia Swann of Birmingham, AL; aunt, Alberta Herrod of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
