Sherry V. Bennett

Our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend, Ms. Sherry Moore Bennett, 55, has completed all of her works here on this earth. On May 9, 2018, she received direct orders from the Lord requesting her to report for a specialized leadership role for which she was rewarded great benefits and an amazing retirement package making this an offer that she could not refuse. In this newly appointed assignment, Sherry is free to socialize, travel, shop and laugh all while keeping a watchful eye over her loved ones. While she is sorry she was not able to tell us all goodbye, she rests comfortably knowing that she will be there to greet us with a huge smile when we too receive our promotion. In the meantime, to carry her legacy she leaves behind her mother, Louise Moore; brothers, Derra, Donnie, Keefe and William; sister, Wanda; husband, Joseph D. Bennett; along with their five children, Rashee (Lavelle), Cierra, Kellee, Jovonne and Joseph Jr.; five grandchildren, Jovonne Jr., Jonah, Aaron Jr., Aariana and Cienna and a host of loving relatives. A homegoing celebration honoring her life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at Greater Church of God By Faith, 2434 Old Middleburg Road North.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
