Aaron Emmanuel Godette of Orange Park, FL was born on 23 January 1994 to Marion and Janice Godette, in Greensboro, N.C. He peacefully passed away on 16 September 2022 at HCA FL Orange Park Hospital, Orange Park, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Bernie and Annie Godette and maternal grandparents, Sarah Frances and Willie Brewington.
He attended Clay County Schools, graduated from Ridgeview High School, received an Associate Degree from Saint Johns River State College, Orange Park, FL, attended University of Central Florida and Valencia State College in Orlando, FL majoring in Digital Media. He loved playing sports and was an exceptional basketball player.
He is survived by his parents, Marion and Janice Godette of Orange Park, FL; his older brother, Jamal Godette of Tampa, FL; his special aunt “second mom”, Alice McCoy of Jacksonville, FL; special cousin “Big Brother”, Christopher McCoy of Charlotte, NC and a host of uncles, aunts and other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. both at Calvary Assembly of God Orange Park, 9 Knight Boxx Rd, Orange Park, FL 32065.
Mr. Aaron will be laid to rest Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, 1040 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073.
