Aaron Wilkins was born on June 1, 2002, in Baltimore, MD. He moved with his Mom, Dad, brother, and sister to
Jacksonville, FL, in 2014, to be closer to their family after the passing of his grandmother.
Aaron attended J.E.B. Stuart Middle School and Samuel W. Wolfson High School, where he studied International Baccalaureate and AP Honors, and received his diploma in 2020. Aaron was a talented athlete who enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, soccer, and running track. Aaron’s real passion was basketball and at the tender age of 6 years old, he started his basketball journey playing AAU until the age of 11 and garnering the nickname “Tic Tock” because of his bowed legs, speed, and talent. At age 12, Aaron started playing basketball at J.E.B. Stuart, where he was the Captain of his team for 3 years straight and won the Duval County Public Schools All-Conference Award. He went on to high school, where he was the only freshman at Samuel W. Wolfson High School to ever play varsity basketball. Aaron continued playing basketball throughout high school, earning the Most Athletic Award. At the age of 7, Aaron led his AAU Track and Field Team to the National Championship at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, running in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, and the 4 x 100 meters relay.
