Adelene P. Scott

January 16, 1938 ~ April 23, 2021 (age 83) 

Adelene Patricia Scott passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family on April 23, 2021. She was born on January 16, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio to, the late Edward J. and Helen M. Wagner Weiser.

Adelene was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Weiser, Gregory Weiser, John Weiser, William “Bill” Weiser and Robert “Bob” Weiser; sisters, Mary Thomas, Louise Billingsley, Jane Eppley, Florence Brown and Elizabeth “Betty” Powell.

Adelene is survived by her loving husband, Richard Scott; daughters, Teresa Scott and Sharon Holton; son, Richard Matthew (Donna) Scott; granddaughters, Valerie Holton and Christa Holton; great-grandchildren, Mao Kai Holton, Jack Holton, Mason Holton and Charlotte Holton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Adelene attended Dillon Falls Grade School in Zanesville and graduated from Rosecrans High School in Zanesville, in 1956. While still in high school, she worked at Noble Shoe Store, on Main Street, on the weekends in Zanesville. After graduating from high school, she worked at Line Material in Zanesville for a short amount of time. Then she spent the rest of her life as a devoted housewife and mother.

Plans for a memorial service are pending.
