Barbara Joan Rainey

Barbara Joan Rainey was taken home on August 30, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center. She was born December 21, 1946 in Lafayette, TN.

Barbara never met a stranger. She loved to be around family and friends.

Her biggest love was her husband, John Rainey, Jr. and her two daughters, Kimberly Rainey Buck and Karen Rainy Hall as well as her grandson, Johnathan A. Buck.

Barbara and John were married for 57 wonderful years.

Barbara was good at encouraging other and always had an open ear to listen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Hazel Baird and brother, William Baird.

Barbara is survived by her loving family, husband, John Rainey; daughters, Kimberly Rainey Buck and Karen Rainey Hall; grandson Johnathan Buck; sister, Linda Sue Shedd as well as many family members and friends.

She will always be loved and missed.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
