Bertha Page-Adams, 83, passed away on May 6, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on June 21, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York to, the late Richard and Bertha Page.
Bertha graduated from Decatur High School and went on to become a Social worker at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn. She was a member of the Church Of The Open Door in New York. Bertha enjoyed cooking, shopping, playing numbers and the lottery. She loved visiting family members and watching old westerns, Murder She Wrote, Bonanza and Jeopardy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Adams (Pvt. U.S. Army), sisters and brothers, Lenox Page and Morris Page, Alice Boykin and Elizabeth Thomas, James Page, Morris Page, Richard Page and David Page.
Bertha is survived by her children, Bryan Adams (Melinda) and David Adams; step-daughter, Sherri Sumpter; grandchildren, Daivon Adams, Elijah C. Thompson, Joshua David Thompson, Brianna Adams, Callie Adams, Dailanie Elisabeth Thompson and Alana Adams; sister, Rosalind Page and a host of other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on, Tuesday, May 27, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073. 904-264-1233. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32018.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:30 p.m., at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
