Carolann Hall, 66, passed away January 22, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 16, 1957, in Miami, FL, to Claude E. Jackson and Margaret Louise Wood Jackson.

Carolann met her husband, Dennis in 1979 and got engaged in October 1980 and were married a year later on October 10, 1981. They were married at University Baptist Church in Coral Gables, FL by Reverend Dan Yeary. Her favorite song she and Dennis played at their wedding was “The Wedding Song, There Is Love”.

Carolann worked in banking for four years and in insurance claims for ten years. She later worked at Publix for over 16 years.

She enjoyed traveling. Some of her favorite trips she and Dennis took was to Arizona, Vermont and Niagara Falls Canada. Carolann loved traveling to spend time with her family. Her nieces, nephew and great-nephews held a very special place in her heart. Carolann enjoyed collecting eagles and her favorite bible verse, Isaiah 40:31, “The Lord shall renew their strength and shall mount up with wings as eagles.”

She was preceded in death by her parents and maternal grandmother, Ethel R. Wood.

Carolann is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis M. Hall of Jacksonville; dear sister, Linda Jackson Marshall (David) of Tallahassee; loving brother, Gary R. Jackson and his special friend, Lesly Maldonado both of Miami; cherished nieces, Heather Marshall of Tallahassee, and Kristen Jackson Arroyo (John) of Miami; cherished nephew, Gary Robert Jackson of Miami; and cherished great-nephews, Nicholas Arroyo and Julian Arroyo both of Miami.

The family would like to give special thanks to Albert Johnson, who has always been there to help in any way that he could, and to Robert Cabrera, who went above and beyond to help Carolann regain her hearing through hearing aids as well as rigorously attending to them to make sure they were in tiptop shape. And also a special thanks to Meredith Merz who was Carolann’s loving caretaker for over a year, and to Frank and Debbie Gazaleh from Spring Park Pharmacy, who have always been there to help Carolann.
