Obituary
Catherine Melba Jackson was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 29, 2023, after a long and full life.
Catherine was born to Artis and Allie Mobley in Tampa, Florida. After graduating from high school, Catherine moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she worked in child care and domestic services. She was of Christian faith and a long time member of Philippian Community Church.
She was preceded in death by both parents and a daughter, Bernita Bess.
She leaves behind a daughter, Valerie Presha; a grandson, Kenneth Presha; one sister, Joyce Scott; a cousin, Irma Griffin and many friends at Cathedral Terrace.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., both services at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
