Catherine Agnes Smith

Catherine A. Smith, 73, passed away November 28, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born August 4, 1949 in Oswego, NY, to the late Robert McDonough and Martha McDonough.

Catherine was a graduate of Oswego State University and was a member of the Accounting Payroll Association of America. She was a perfectionist in her cross stitching and plastic canvas stitching.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving son, Stephen Smith and brother, Steven McDonough.

Catherine was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her passion in life was her family and friends. Her heart was always devoted to making others feel better. She was a spot of sun that dimmed out a little earlier than we expected, but will shine for the rest of eternity. She will be missed by all who met her.

A memorial service will be held December 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park. FL 32073.
