Charles Michael Williams, age 74, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2026, in Green Cove Springs, Florida. He was born on April 2, 1951, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Charles and Ida Williams.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Vic Williams and Ricky Williams.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Williams (Vickie) and Jason Williams; his former wife, Bunny Gaston; his grandson, Tyler Williams; and his granddaughter, Keira Davis. He is also survived by his sisters, Pat Zeigler and Terri Williams; his niece and nephews, April Vecoli, Vic Williams, Joe Zeigler, T.J. Williams, Mark Williams, Travis Williams, Chad Williams and host of family and friends.
Mike dedicated much of his life to his work. For twenty years, he was an accountant for Frank A. McBride, a mechanical contracting company in Jacksonville, Florida. He later joined the City of Green Cove Springs as a Water Treatment Operator, where he faithfully served the community for 31 years before retiring.
Mike enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and had a great sense of humor. He loved taking vacations with family to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, a place that always brought him peace and happiness. He had a passion for reading, music, and movies, and he was a devoted fan of Florida Gators football. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Mike will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
