Cheryl Wilkinson Obituary

Cheryl Denise Wilkinson, born on October 11, 1968, in Mansfield, OH, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, in Green Cove Springs, FL.

Cheryl was a devoted wife to Morren Shaun Wilkinson, with whom she shared 29 beautiful years of love and companionship. The couple met in Virginia Beach, VA, in 1994 and married in March 1995, embarking an unwavering support for one another.

Cheryl was a loving mother to her four children, Brandon, River, Andrew and Christian. She poured her heart into her family and her love for them was immeasurable and timeless. Cheryl had a unique gift for reading people’s energy, allowing her to connect deeply with those around her. Her infectious smile and warm spirit touched everyone she met, making her a beloved presence in their lives.

Cheryl was an avid reader and writer. She sought peace in her everyday life, often finding joy in her favorite food—tacos and refried beans—while listening to music by Kendrick Lamar. Her favorite place was at home, where she felt the most at ease. Cheryl was a Navy wife and worked in the auto insurance industry, but her proudest accomplishment was the day her family became whole again.

Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband, her four children and her brothers, Michael, Marvyn and Marlon.

She was known for her intuitive, intelligent and passionate nature, always striving for a simple and peaceful life. Her favorite saying, “Peace be still,” reflected her deep spiritual beliefs and her commitment to fostering tranquility in the lives of those around her.

The legacy of Cheryl Denise Wilkinson will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who remember her as the loving, beautiful and wise soul she was. Cheryl’s essence will forever be cherished and she will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
