Waddell, Christopher Lee, 65 went to meet his maker on March 23, 2022, surrounded by his family after a long battle with Melanoma.
Chris was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 12, 1956. He was a graduate of Edward H. White High School. Chris served in the United States Air Force and then went on to join the United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier until his retirement. He loved family, friends, and fishing, but also loved following and playing sports with his son. He will be forever known as “Big Country” and having the best jokes, always keeping friends and family on their toes.
He was a devoted, loving, and caring husband, father, son, uncle and brother and a friend to many people, to say he will be missed in an understatement.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Tansy; their son, Preston (Natalia); his parents, Maxie and Sandra Waddell; his sisters, Lenora Waddell Taylor (Rob), Sharon Wofford; his nieces, Laura Phelps (Daniel) and Savannah Wofford, and a host of family and friends
