Damien Robert Toney

Damien Robert Toney passed away on July 27, 2025.

Damien accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at the Hopewell Church, Mandarin Campus in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated, in the Class of 2018, Ridgeview High School and later completed training at Tulsa Welding School and became a licensed HVAC Tech. He was employed by Thigpen Heating and Cooling, Inc. In his spare time Damien enjoyed exotic cars and playing video games.

Damien is survived by his parents, Daniel and Yolonda Toney; brother, Dylan Toney; grandparents, Robert and Belinda Smith; uncles, Robert “Robbie” Smith and Vincent Cunningham;  aunts, Jackie Wiggins, Terreca Foster, Carolyn Smith and Annie Smith-Jackson; nieces and nephews, Michelle and Myles Rockett, Maliyah Johnson, Nova Donaldson, Leo and Noah Reese, TorreAnna Anthony, Breyel and Bryson Wiggins and Tiana Anthony; cousins and “connected cousins”, Dana Wiggins and Tim and Violet Wiggins;  godparents, John and Lovie Sanders; godsisters, Katronica Sanders Cruger and Monica Sanders; godbrother, Jordan Sanders.

He is also survived by honorary aunts and uncles: Delores and Darol Beamon, Mazarene and Tony Mcmullen, Mae and Tommy Murphy, Johnnie Johnson, Latisha Hunt, Felicia and Clarence Hampshire, Audrex Jones, Sokphala Tan, Eston Bowmen, Lerin and Chick DeMedici and Joseph Rivera; honorary brothers, Shakwon Hunt-Jones, Courtney Rockett, Bryce Donaldson, Mykal Hill, Aaron Jones, Malique Oliver, Jake Libretto, Cameron Rockett, Christian Swilley, Damon Anderson Jr., Marchel Robinson, Corey Rockett Jr., Vernon Rernaldo Arnold Jr., Kenneth Jackson and Wayne Thomas; honorary sisters, Shanaya Hunt-Jones, Eycess Johnson, Breanna Needom, Alicea Schnake and Taylor Atencio; beloved daycare teacher, Miss Carrol Cameron; coach, Eugene Jenkins, special love, Caden Reese and personal trainer, Terri Lee  and a host of loved ones and sorrowing friends.

The Toney Family would like to sincerely thank each of you for the love, prayers, and support you have shown during this time. We are especially grateful for the way you loved Damien while he was here with us. Every hug, visit, call, and prayer has been a blessing to our hearts.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. and Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
