Obituary
Daphne Christine Zepeda passed away on January 31, 2023, in Fleming Island, FL. She was born on February 14, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL , to Bernice (Squires) Williams and the late Donald Williams.
She served in the U.S. Army after graduating from high school. Following serving her country with honors, Daphne achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse working at Baptist Medical Center for many years. Daphne enjoyed cats, animals, gardening, home improvements, jewelry and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Williams, and spouse, Okey Mitchell.
Daphne is survived by her children, Mark LeBlanc, Jr., Brian LeBlanc and Kristy Zepeda; grandson, Jacob LeBlanc; step-grandson, Christopher Little; sister, Bernice Soriven; nephews, Stephen Hedgecock and Christopher Hedgecock and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
Daphne’s ashes will be buried next to her father’s ashes immediately after the funeral service at Black Creek Church of Christ, 3216 CR 218 East, Middleburg, FL 32068.
