Deborah A. Hagans passed away April 29, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 57. Deborah was born to Dary Hagans and Rosebud Pace on October 18, 1962 in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by daughters, Corityzio Malloy (Reggie), Nigina Walker (Patrick) and Daryl Pace (Devin), all of Jacksonville. She is also survived by goddaughter, Lakeema Irvin; grandchildren, Daqwan Timmons, Essence Hagans, Rashad Jackson, Indya Hagans, Ahmad Pace, Nigel Walker, Marcus Walker, Ahmari Pace, Coshari Irvin, Reshawn Malloy, Deanna Parker and Blessing Miller; along with five sisters, two brothers and a host of other relatives and friends.

Deborah was educated in the Duval County Public School system, graduating from Andrew Jackson Senior High School in 1980. She was employed with Bank of America where she enjoyed her position as a fraud specialist. Deborah cherished being a mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her children’s and grandchildren’s well-being.

Deborah will be remembered for her beautiful beaming smile, beautiful brown eyes, green thumb and vivacious personality. Deborah never met a stranger and often shared words of encouragement with friends and family. She loved to joke and laugh, garden, prepare favorite dishes of family and friends, travel and spend quality time with her children and grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home for family and friends to pay their respects.
