Diana L. Swetof

Diana Swetof, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on October 11, 2023, in Orange Park, FL, at the age of 75. She was born on July 7, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Eleanor and Arnie Thilesen.  

Diana was married to her beloved husband, John Swetof, Jr., who preceded her in death. Together, they were blessed with four children, Richard Swetof, Tim Swetof, Brian Swetof and Arnella Swetof. Family was at the center of Diana’s life and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.  

In her professional life, Diana worked as a dedicated waitress, touching the lives of many with her warm and caring nature. Outside of work, she found joy in playing bingo and spending quality time with her family, creating cherished memories that will forever live in their hearts. 

Diana is survived by her children, Richard (Marcy), Tim, Brian (Virginia), Arnella (Channing Mack); three sisters; three brothers; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.   

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
