Edward Randolph Dillahunt, Jr., 71, passed away on December 7, 2025 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on April 29, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Edward Randolph Dillahunt, Sr. and Magnolia Moore Dillahunt.
Eddie graduated from Springfield Gardens High School in Springfield, NY. His work history included Fisher Brothers Real Estate as Porter, Security and Fire Safety Director. His hobbies and interests included model trains, roller skating, RC Airplanes, car and motorcycle shows, aquariums, terrariums and fishing. Eddie was a member of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 32BJ. He was also a member of Christ the King Catholic Church Springfield Gardens.
Family members preceding Eddie in passing are his parents; grandfather, Edward Dillahunt and grandmother, Louvinia Dillahunt.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Virgeane “Cookie” D. Dillahunt; children, Adrian Marie Daniels and Melinda Elaine Baylor; grandchildren, Eric Smith and Donté Daniels; sisters, Patricia Dillahunt, Debra Dunigan, Denise Dillahunt and Diane Dillahunt; nieces, SarentéTarrence, Tiffany Tarrence, Melinda Adams and Kimberly Ruiz; friends, Harold Davis, Kenneth Williams, Emitt Thomas and Graig Ferguson and a host of other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
