Elizabeth Ann Borden of Middleburg, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Mary P. Hutson and William C. Hutson. She was the baby of seven children – Mike Hutson, Steve Hutson, Phil Hutson, Patricia Johnson, and the late Gary Hutson and Charles Hutson. Known to her family and friends as Beth, she loved each person she met along her journey through life.
In January 1984, she married the love of her life, David Borden. Together, they raised their children, Scott Sprague (Stephanie) and Katherine Holt (Harley). Beth was blessed with the gift of many grandchildren that loved her dearly – Taylor, Skylar, Mackenzie, Dillon, Peyton, Kelsee, Connor, Zak, Kelin, Nathan, and Hanna.
Beth loved to spend time with her family and friends, fishing, shopping, swimming, listening to music, watching her favorite TV shows, and camping. She was an avid animal lover and will be missed by her pet dog Sadie and granddogs Maximus, Brody, and Jax.
Beth will be remembered as a gentle soul that loved to cook and do things for her family. She never met a stranger. Her nephews, nieces, and children’s friends were all treated as her own children. She loved everyone fiercely with her whole heart.
A Memorial Service will be held in Beth’s honor on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home located at 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
