Euteva Christlena Lawton

Euteva Christlena Lawton, 96, passed away on December 23, 2024. She was Born on April 19, 1928 in Springdale, AR, to Harrison Walter Sims and Ardona Newberry.

Christlena received her high school diploma in 1996. She was previously the president of Serenity Pacific Bank in California, from which she retired in the late 1970s. Christlena was a member of Highpoint Community Church  and in the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crafting and was a published author.

Christlena was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Lawton; son, Rick Watson; daughter, Linda Watson; her parents; eight brothers and seven sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Janis Smith and adopted son, Dean Williams; three grandchildren, five great children and two great-great grandchildren.

The family gives thanks to the staff at Haven Hospice for the care provided during Chirstlena’s last days.
