Evelyn Joyce Robinson

Evelyn Joyce Robinson departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:45 a.m. at Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL. She was born on June 25, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Aaron Robinson and Louise Hadley Robinson.

Evelyn graduated from Dunbar High School in Green Cove Springs with the class of 1961. She was a member of St. Simon Missionary Baptist Church, which she attended until becoming ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wilbert Robinson and Johnny Robinson; sister, Diane Robinson; and grandparents, Ben Robinson, Sr. and Idella Harris Robinson.

Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory, children, Tana Robinson and Tia Robinson, both of Orange Park, and Talric Robinson of Madison, FL; loving sisters, Thelma Estill and Marsha Ann Carter, both of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Terrinika Waters (Qualaam), TaShawna Hogan, Antwan Robinson, Charles Butler (Kristin) and Britney Richardson; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; uncle, Alfred Robinson (Willie Mae) of Palatka, FL; aunt, Beatrice Robinson of Orange Park, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, with a visitation at 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, 904-264-1233.
