George Wayne Kirby

George Wayne Kirby, 70, passed away on January 15, 2024, in Orange Park, FL. He was born on December 17, 1953, in Richmond, VA, to the late George Turman Kirby and Betty Moody Burns.

George worked his way up through the electrical trade and received his Journeyman Electrician License for Duval and St Johns County.

George loved listening to music, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family.

George will be deeply missed by his loving life partner of 39 years, Sylvia Kirby; son, George Wayne Kirby Jr.; granddaughter, Riley Kirby, and a host of other family members and friends.

The family extends their upmost gratitude to the staff members of Vivo of Orange Park and Community Hospice.
