Gwanda Lee Phillips Fisher

Gwanda Lee Phillips Fisher, 73, passed away on December 26, 2020 at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL. Her death was due to injuries sustained in a fall at her home on December 9, 2020.

She was born on February 24, 1947 in Rockwood, TN. Gwanda was the daughter of Velma Ruth Chapman and Lee Edward Phillips.

Gwanda is survived by her husband, Arthur Larry Fisher; children, Brian J. Paulk, wife, Alice and son, Nathan of Orange Park; daughter, Erin E. Paulk, partner, Jacob Smith and daughter, Heather Paulk-Smith of Jacksonville, FL; step-daughter, Lorenda Fisher Volker, husband, Frank and son, Brandon of Fort Collins, CO, and their daughter, Tiffany Volker Miller and husband, Matt of Littleton, CO; special aunt, Shirley Inman of Chattanooga, TN and many friends.

Final rites will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073. The Reverend Stanley Puckett will be officiating. A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Union Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Whiteville, NC with Edwin Skipper officiating.
