Harry Clifford “Cliff” Johnson, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Sandy; son, Harry, III (Heather); daughter, Danielle (Derek) and three grandsons he loved and adored; Landon, Jacob and Dexter. He is also survived by his father, Harry C. Johnson, Sr. (Mary) and mother, Glenda Hiland; his two sisters, Debbie (Keven) and Michelle (Roger); three brothers, Daryl (Michele), Phil (Susan) and Jason (Elizabeth) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cliff retired after 30 years of service with the Jacksonville Sheriff Office as a Correctional Officer and worked three and half additional years as a bailiff with Duval County Courthouse. His favorite pastimes were cooking for his family and friends, spending time with his grandsons and working on small engines.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at 11:30 a.m., at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 7673 Collins Road, Jacksonville, FL 32244.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Community Hospice in his memory.
