Helen Patricia Eubanks

Helen Patricia Eubanks passed away on July 25, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on January 22, 1939 in Jacksonville, to the late Jeptha W. Cox and Helen Marjorie Cox .

Helen was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FESA (FL Electronics Service Association) and past president and retired member of NESDA. She enjoyed sewing, upholstering and refinishing  furniture, loved animals and gadgets.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Helen Louise Rymsza; son, John William Eubanks; son-in-law, Ray Shinholser; maternal grandparents Charles and Ruby Barber and paternal grandparents, Jeptha and Ada Cox.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, John N. Eubanks, Jr.; children, Debra A. (Rick) Benninghoff, James W. Eubanks and son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Rymsza; grandchildren, Mandy (Tony) Pagano, Kate Mann, Michael (Sarah) Shinholser and Robbie (Sarah) Rymsza; great-grandchildren, Joshua Pagano, Lara Pagano, Evan Shinholser, Lilly Shinholser, and Jacob Brock; brother, Arthur Barber (Bobby) Cox; sister, Doris “DeeDee” Cox (Walt) Price; sister-in-law, Linda (Richard) Stoutamire; friends, Henry and Judy Russ and Joan Waltham.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.  followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
