Hoi Thi Nguyen

Hoi Thi Nguyen, 90, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2025, in Orange Park, Florida, surrounded by generations of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was born on May 10, 1935, in Nghe Tinh, Vietnam.

Along with her lifelong husband, Hoa Ngoc Bui, they devoted their lives to raising their 9 children before immigrating to America and settling in Orange Park, in 1992. She continued to help her children raise their own children.

After her dementia diagnosis in 2017, her children became her caregivers. Hoi continued to live a faith filled life and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Hoi is preceded in death by her husband, Hoa Ngoc Bui.

She is survived by all of the following children: Binh Ngoc Bui, his wife, 5 children, and 6 grandchildren; Thinh Thi Bui, 4 children, and 7 grandchildren; Tan Ngoc Bui, his wife, and 2 children; Tuyet Minh Thi Bui, her husband, and child; Tuan Ngoc Bui, his wife, and 3 children; Hoang Ngoc Bui, his wife, and 2 children; Phuong Tuyet Thi Bui, her husband, and 2 children; Linh Ngoc Bui, his wife, and 2 children; Emily Trang Bui, her husband, and 2 children. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233, and a Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.

Interment will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
